Located amidst the nature of Pipa, we are Lagarto na Banana, the ideal place for those looking for connection, acceptance and fun.
Lagarto is a hostel with a strong sense of community, open to everyone, regardless of origin, gender, age or history, for all types of travelers, also offering a coworking space for digital nomads.
Here you will find the ideal environment to make new friends, learn new languages and come into contact with other cultures, sharing experiences of all kinds.
In addition to an environment full of interpersonal exchange, each day have a free yoga class, breakfast and activities that invite you to explore your artistic, sensitive, collective and expressive side. We also have a daily optional vegetarian dinner and bar.
It’s for these reasons that Lagarto na Banana is a place where it’s easy to lose track of time — before you know it, a day becomes a week and a week becomes a month.

A typical day at Lagarto
We start our morning with a daily 60-minute yoga practice in our temple at 8 a.m. (Friday and Sunday at 6 p.m.). Our yoga is suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced. You can bring your own yoga mat or use one of the ones we provide.
Breakfast is served as a buffet with fruit, homemade cake, eggs, bread, cuscuz, coffee, milk, tea and natural juice.
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays we offer a guided meditation practice at 11am (it may change). We hold the meditations in our temple, in Portuguese and English, lasting 40-60 minutes.
After enjoying the beaches and the magic of Pipa, we open our bar every day except Wednesdays and Sundays. We have various types of beer, special cocktails and the traditional Brazilian caipirinha. We also have non-alcoholic options with natural juices and coconut water.
Every day of the week we get together to take part in the activity of the day, organized by our employees, guests or residents of the local community. The purpose is for you to get out of your comfort zone, expressing yourself, connecting with others and especially with yourself, bringing with it the opportunity for new learning and personal growth. The activities range from surf lessons with partners, dance classes, theater, capoeira, poetry, philosophical circles, reiki, game nights, language exchanges, sports activities, cinelagarto and much more.
After the activity, we serve a vegetarian dinner lovingly prepared by our chefs using fresh ingredients. The dinners feature a different menu each day, with elaborate, healthy and delicious dishes influenced by various cuisines from around the world.

Paradise. The best hostel of pipa, the place is great and the volunteers form a small family always ready to create the atmosphere with activities and good cocktails! I had to stay there for five days, I finally extended my stay for two weeks so much that I feel very well here.

A melhor viagem da minha vida! ♥️ Sem dúvidas o Lagarto foi uma experiência única e inesquecível. Desde o momento que cheguei, a recepção que tive da equipe, Tacia e Lu, foi algo acolhedor, assim como todos, que me abraçaram e me trataram tão bem. Além disso, o hostel é lindo, uma conexão com a natureza, com as pessoas de várias culturas, eu simplesmente me apaixonei. O café da manhã e o jantar, além das atividades que o lagarto oferece, são os melhores momentos, no qual podemos interagir e compartilhar momentos incríveis com todos. Sem dúvidas eu irei voltar! ♥️

The hospitality, the activities and the atmosphere that you live! I felt right at home and welcome. The hostel is surrounded by nature, perfect for being in good company but if you want you can find a quiet space. The volunteer team and the people working in the facility are harmonious and cohesive and this is very important and important. I recommend this hostel which is not only a hostel but a beautiful reality. I left a little piece of my heart there 🙂

Suuuupeer recomendable. Fui a pasar unos días y no pude evitar alargar mi estancia. Muy buen ambiente, te hacen sentir como uno más! Cerca del centro, pero en el momento que entras al hostel puedes sentirte en conexión con la naturaleza. Todas las noches preparan comida casera y muy variada! Gracias lagartooos. Volveré.

Ambiente increíble, comida exquisita, muy amables todos!!! Llegué a este hostal porque vi la excelente puntuación y todos los comentarios maravillosos. Realmente superó mis expectativas. Se genera un ambiente maravilloso alla adentro, muy especial. Todos los chicos del staff son muy amables y serviciales. Hay clases de yoga, meditación y actividades todo el tiempo!!! También el desayuno está incluido y es MUY rico! En la noche también hay comida (hay que pagar pero muy poco) y es espectacular!!!!!!! Me encantó todo!!! La limpieza, que es algo muy importante para mi, estaba muy buena!

Best place of Pipa! I love the place, the treehouse, the kitchen and area. It is very chill and feels you’re in a little jungle Forest. Also the people coming to the hostel are amazing and the staff exists of volunteers who are the best!

Funcionários simpáticos, conforto, seguranças , localização. O atendimento dos funcionários e o pessoal que também estava hospedado no hostel super gente boa e incrível! Pense numa turma animada! Best hostel in Pipa! Everything was so good that I had to book for more nights. Everyone that comes here, always stays more, people are like a big family, there is yoga every morning, activities are organized everyday, a very good breakfast included, dinner is vegetarian and so so good. You feel like time passes by in a completely different way. Best hostel if you come to Pipa. You will never want to leave!
